Your home deserves the jTouch.
Whether you’re starting a new build or revitalizing your dream home, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
Hello, I’m Jo Anna Morgan.
Welcome to jTouch, a home aesthetics and project coordination service in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
As the wife of a Three-Star Admiral in the U.S. Navy, I’ve added my touch to homes around the world for 23 years. Throughout my time, I’ve uncovered the perfect items to give homes what I now call The jTouch. They’re the individual elements that give a home a personality, a distinctive look, and a feeling that says “my home is very special to me”.
I’ve since expanded my expertise to include working as a consultant and coordinator for new construction, with a special emphasis on green technologies from solar panels to geothermal. My latest project resulted in a home that is a net contributor to Winston-Salem’s electrical grid! Our planet needs all the help it can get, and I take pride in doing my part and helping others to be good stewards of the planet.
What I can do for you
I love giving your home the jTouch. First, deciding with you what your home really needs to make it your own. Then finding the perfect items, accessories, plumbing and light fixtures or paint colors, fabrics and materials you’ll fall in love with.
Doing the research for you saves you time and frustration, particularly when it comes to hiring the right contractors — plumbing, painting, electricity and carpentry. I maintain a list of trusted, reliable workers who are both affordable and will deliver great results.

My latest work
I am particularly proud of the house in these photos. All colors, furnishings, artwork and fixtures were selected by me. This home was featured in the November 2023 issue of Winston Salem Monthly magazine.

The Great Room has one of four fireplaces and warm wood tone coffered ceilings.

Another view of the Great Room shows off barrel chairs with an accent fabric that has beautiful texture and rich colors.

Entrance foyer’s show stopper is its walnut and mahogany paneled door completed with layered wool rugs and wooden antique wings.

The piano room was designed to feature not only the piano, but a custom niche for an oversized piece of art by Tarkay. A temperature controlled wine cellar in Birds Eye Maple adjoins.

This Kitchen/Great Room is awash in natural daylight courtesy of three picture windows.

The Admiral’s bath is painted Navy Blue as a nod to his Naval service and has a large soaking tub and walk-in steam shower.

Teal blues in the carpet and custom bedding and window treatments evoke a calm spa like feel in the Main Bedroom.

Guest room # 1 welcomes guests with painted vintage beds and custom pillow shams and bed scarves.

Guest room # 2 has a colorful vibe with bed linens and a unique bedside lamp fashioned from a porcelain vase.

Upstairs media room is outfitted with a 130-inch screen and vintage movie posters and is without windows for optimal viewing.
I’d love to work with you.
